Title: Luxurious with a hint of sarcasm. Text: The hotel made me feel like a queen with its warm welcome and luxurious amenities, but apparently being a queen doesn't come with notepads or pens in the room. And don't get me started on the weak tea and undercooked omelettes at breakfast. Quite the royal disappointment.

Central location in the old palace. You must take into account that you are in Africa and not necessarily in the tourist area. This is a really good hotel for this. However, it does not compare to good hotels in Tunisia or on the coast, and is quite expensive with an overnight stay of 100 euros. But it is charming and, above all, a really good place, so overall it's good.

Beautiful and comfortable with great location. Perfect room, everything provided. Refreshing complimentary drink, free fruit and snacks. Borrowed charger from reception. Fantastic service distinguishes good from great. Breakfast was everything one could wish for. Amazing building and nice spa facilities.

The room was nice and traditionally furnished, the standard ok. The breakfast buffet was very orderly.
The check-in process was not a 5* standard. The invoice was issued on request only.

The Christmas decoration was lovely and the live music added a festive touch to the atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the views from the balconies were breathtaking. The location was ideal, within walking distance to the historic sites.
The food was subpar, with little variety or seasoning. The buffet was crowded and unappealing.

Friendly staff, the location directly next to the city wall makes it possible to visit the medina on foot. Free guarded parking lot belonging to the hotel.
Large dining rooms are not our thing, depending on occupancy there can be quite noisy and the atmosphere is impersonal. The WLan did not work, at least in our room, but only in the corridor and in the lobby.
